This rare vintage space heater features the work of internationally celebrated theatrical and film star and talented artist Lionel Barrymore. His character, Mr. Potter in “It’s a Wonderful Life” was rated by the American Film Institute as being number six on their list of all-time movie villains, but his artwork is also timeless. The radiant heat space heater was produced in the 1960’s by Brown & Bigelow for their “Remembrance” program. It features the Lionel Barrymore work “Harbor Shelter” made of porcelain for the face plate of the heater. The heater is approximately 19” tall, 31 ½” wide and 6 ¼” deep. The porcelain face is approximately 31” x 14” and can be removed from the heater. It has been sitting in storage since the late 1960’s and still works. It has never been used and is in overall mint condition.
